HCA Hope Fund Board of Directors
The Board of Directors consists of a diverse group of HCA employees from across the country. The board, which meets quarterly:
- Monitors the number and types of requests received
- Reviews unique requests
- Monitors the amount of money available and the demands on those funds
- Ensures consistent staff and local committee procedures
- Maintains confidentiality of any employee information obtained as a result of serving on the board
- Reviews and approves all changes to the HCA Hope Fund policies, procedures and guidelines
HCA Hope Fund Staff
The fund’s operations are staffed by HCA employee volunteers. They have the support of HCA’s corporate departments, including Accounting, Treasury, Human Resources, Information Systems and Community Relations. The staff:
- Reviews recommendations and makes the final decision on assistance or other action
- Supports Fund Leaders and local committees in their efforts
- Presents unique or troublesome applications to the Board of Directors
- Processes payments to approved applicants
- Coordinates with Accounting and Payroll to administer payroll deduction contributions to the fund
- Maintains confidentiality of any employee information obtained as a result of serving on the staff
- Supports Campaign Leaders in their fundraising efforts
